Crafting turns into Toddler Tattoo Parlor

I love to come up with great crafty ideas for the boys. This morning I planned on using left over cardboard boxes to make a huge road way system for them to drive their little cars on. I drew a few and then left them to change the laundry with strict instructions to keep the markers on the cardboard. Here is what happens with my two boys and crafts!

Mom-this is just a little highlight of what you have to look forward to when we move out of your house. Full sleeve tattoos!

Mom-our hands had to match too!
But Mom-we are shark boy and lava boy! We have to draw on our bellies.
I hope this comes off before we have to go to the baseball game later this afternoon! I'm not against breaking out the Comet!

Living the Good Life!

Is this not the good life? A nice soak after a 30 minute session of shooting baskets. Much to Clark's dismay, he may have two basketball players on his hands. Of course my side of the family and I will get blamed for this "dirty habit"! Oh how Clark loathes basketball.
Can anyone tell how excited Cutter is to have his Daddy home? Clark has been unable to get out of his sight. Cutter even offered to sit in a chair and talk to him while Clark took a shower. Maybe next time kiddo!

Lawn Mower Repairs!

Can someone please tell me how two pint sized individuals who say their muscles are not strong enough to button their own pants can tear a hood off a riding lawnmower? And then cart off the evidence and hide it in their daddy's trailer. Did they think I wouldn't notice? Did they think their daddy for sure wouldn't notice?

I now have a new skill. I can reinstall hoods on riding lawn mowers!

PS. Mother Nature-Could you please turn down the heat? Did you not get the memo about me being pregnant!

Can't Believe I'm Posting This!

Me at 26 weeks!
Scared yet? Or is it just me? A picture for those of you who have been asking. I'm sure my grandmother will once again ask me if I'm sure there isn't two in there. I made the trip to my doctor yet again yesterday. I was measuring right on and haven't gained any weight to speak of since the last visit. It was from all that window washing. It's great exercise. How I am going to make it to 39 weeks if I have to, I do not know! I will just leave you with the thought of me not being nearly as big as I was with twins at this point. Now that was SCARY looking.
Anyone seen Madagascar 2? The new favorite song for this house comes from the soundtrack. I am going to try to add it to by blog in just a sec so take your computer off mute to check it out. It's titled "Big and Chunky"! Very appropriate at this point.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Conversations with a 3 year old boy

This mornings conversation with Carsyn(note I am in living room, he is in bathroom)

Carsyn : Momma, can you come wipe me?
Me: Okay, I'll be there in just a sec.
Carsyn: No, momma you are suppose to say "I'll be in there in just a sec football player"
Me: Last time I checked football players could wipe themselves
Carsyn : Not this one
(I enter bathroom)

Carsyn: Mom, I think I have diariff!
Me: What is diariff?
Carsyn: You know! Diariff!
Me: I've never heard of it before.
Carsyn: Just look at it then!
(me looking)
Carsyn: See, diariff!

Hope everyone else is having a diariff free day! Me-I am nesting like crazy. Washed the windows in the back of the house. Cleaned out the fridge and washed it down. As soon as the boys get up from their naps, we are gonna do the front windows. It's driving me crazy for no rational reason. The wind is blowing and the dirt will be right back on them. Happy Wednesday.

Adventures of Motherhood

Did I say I had nothing to blog about last week? Well the day after(last Monday) that all changed. It has taken me a few days to be able to blog about it. My title to my blog is actually the theme for my MOPS program this year. Too fitting. I had just come in from playing outside with the boys to take a batch of cupcakes out of the of when the next thing I know I hear one of the boys standing behind me whimpering but not crying. I guessed that he was upset for me coming into the house without properly informing him. The next thing I hear is "momma, I'm bleeding". Of course I whip around to see blood pouring down on my kitchen floor. Somehow I calmly come up with the idea to sit him down in a chair and wrap a cold wet hand towel around it to get it to stop bleeding. Did I mentioned I had been cleaning and cooking all day? No hair done, no make up, clothes that a 6 mth pregnant woman does not want to be seen in. Did I also mention that Clark had taken the car seats to town with him in his pick-up? That was okay because I did want him to look at it and tell me what he thought. He thought it was just a scratch. My motherly instinct wouldn't allow me not to take him to the doctor to at least let them clean it up and make sure we are up to date on our tetanus shot. This was important since he cut it on a piece of metal outside. So Carsyn and I all by my pregnant self head into town. To make a long story short, the doctor told us he definitely needed stitches.(see poor quality picture below) 6 to be exact. The worst part was the numbing shot where he screamed "I'm going to kick somebody, I'm going to kick somebody" while he did indeed try to kick me and the doctor giving the shot. After that he was his normal chatty self. Momma got a little hot and had to sit down in order not to pass out from the adrenaline rush she had just experienced. I calmly stated that pregnancy and stitches did not mix and they began turning down that air conditioner. I've decided if I'm going to be the mother of 3 boys, I had better get use to stitches, broken bones, and other gory things.
Another picture of the boys. Notice how they both are wearing two right or two left boots. Why is this so hard to learn? Doesn't it hurt?

Another pose for those two blog stalkers that I have. They look so grown up here.
