Xmas Party

So we made the big Xmas party. Santa showed and surprisingly it was other people's kids who screamed bloody murder. My boys are growing up! When I arrived, my boys were still asleep so their party animalism didn't come out until the very end. That was a huge blessing for me because it was just complete chaos. Any who, just a few little pics.

(per Tonya's request) Can you see the bump? If not, the shirt is doing it's job. (It's really more like a mound than a bump.)
Carsyn on Santa's lap. He got a NFL blue football. Made this kid's day. All my men are outside tossing the new football around as I type.

Cutter telling Santa very sternly that he wanted some Batman stuff. Santa brought Cutter a Cat bulldozer! Another big hit.
Sitting down at their designated tables. Still a little groggy from nap.

Cutter zoned out! Definitely still asleep. He kept asking me what are we were doing here for!(my mom will laugh at this because this is his favorite question)

Dear Santa.....

Clark came home with the paper yesterday. He said that apparently the kids at Mother's Day Out wrote letters to Santa. He had this "prepare yourself" look on his face. To my surprise, they were really cute and thoughtful.

Dear Santa,
I want a scooter and Batman, and Bubba wants Spiderman and a scooter.-Cutter Campbell

Dear Santa,
I want your red hat. I want you to bring me some toys. Please bring Cutter a scooter and bring Mommy and Daddy one, too!-Carsyn Campbell

They are having their Christmas Party at MDO today. Hopefully I will remember my camera. I think a certain guy in a red suit is making an appearance. I need my annual "I'm scared to death of Santa" photo.

Xmas Photos

Cutter being his "Big" self!
Carsyn had to get duded up and yelled "Howdy Partners" right after this photo!

Little behind on blogging. Imagine that. I don't really have much to blog about. We are staying busy but with nothing blog-worthy.
On the baby front, I had an appointment with my Dr the day before Thanksgiving. I took the boys with me(big mistake) and my mom because Clark could not take a day off before a school holiday. Carsyn was quick to inform my doctor that I had a baby in my tummy when she walked in. In the next sentence he included that his teeth were killing him. I have no idea what made him think of that. We got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. I had lost another half pound on top of the 12 pounds I had already lost. Everything is looking good. We have our next appointment and sonogram on December 22ND. We will be finding out the sex of the baby that day. The boys have changed their mind and would now like a boy. Their name suggestion for this little boy is Batman. Batman sound a lot better than some of Clark's suggestions! I asked if we had a girl, would we have to name her Bat woman. They didn't think that was a good idea but didn't have any suggestions. I'm officially 15 weeks today. Only 24 more weeks to go(I will only be going to 39 weeks since they schedule c-sections the week before a due date).

Mater is Alive and Well!

Mater is alive and well in Morgan Mill, TX! We had to stop for a photo opportunity on our way to Holliday this weekend. The boys thought it was pretty cool but Carsyn did not want to sit on Mater. I think he was afraid Mater would start driving backwards like he does in the movie. When we were leaving, Cutter said "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park". Just like Mater in the movie.

Now I have been tagged......

My 6th picture in my 6th folder. Thanks to my new computer, I have a fairly recent picture. This is us in our Eagle gear before the Homecoming football game.

I know, I know! I need to post more. But I have been having to spend more time with my potty than my computer thanks to wonderful morning sickness. I have reached week 12. Here I come second trimester.

Jack-O-Lantern, Halloween Costumes, and other news!

Our Texas Tech Masked Rider

Their capes are identical to this years masked rider's cape!

Carsyn and the Jack-O-Lantern
Cutter and Jack-the Lantern!
So we finally got our Jack-O-Lantern carved. Thanks to Titi(that's my sister)! They were surprisingly interested in it. They asked us a hundred times what we were doing. I think they have it now.
On to the costumes. I always try to come up with something out of the ordinary for the boys to be for Halloween. I racked and racked my brain! Thankfully, my wonderfully crafty and skilled mother-in law came up with the Texas Tech Masked Rider idea. She went all out! Looked up this years Masked Rider and got detail print outs of the cape. I guess we do hint that Tech would be a good school. We did bring them home from the hospital in Tech garb. They have tech footballs, basketballs, helmets, jerseys, t-shirts, etc. You name it, they have it. We have been watching the Tech games so they can see what the Masked Rider actually does. I have also pulled it up on YouTube! Obsessed....maybe! No we aren't trick or treating on a real horse. I did have that idea but knew I might get a nasty look from the hubby. Not to mention the yards that might get fertilized. Stick horses will have to do.
The boys have their first Halloween party at Mother's Day Out on Thursday. They are trunk-or treating at the church, having scary story time at the library, decorating pumpkins, and then having a big party to top things off. Hope to attend and bring home some pictures.
In other news, we are adding a new addition to our family. Baby Campbell #3 is on his/her way. May 31st is the due date. Yes, there is only one. I have the pictures to prove it. Other than being extremely sick, we are all doing good. I have had one little hospital visit due to dehydration but hopefully I am getting better at holding down liquids. I thought I would let my blogger friends know. It is being discussed at the John Deere house here in town so I figured it's BIG news! LOL!
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween.

A little boy's prayer

Cutter's prayer at dinner tonight:

Thank you God for this food.
Thank you God for football players.
Thank you God for everything.
AMEN-followed by a loud and very long burp.

Carsyn's prayer:

Thank you God for this food.
Thank you God for this drink.
Thank you God for everything.
AMEN! (no burp thank goodness)

Another First

So it has taken me 3 1/3 years to be able to do this. It is a big first for our family. I am leaving these two precious boys alone overnight with their daddy. I am extremely worried about them but know they will have a great time. I told them I was going on a trip with Mimi and they said they were going too. I had to explain that this was a girl's only trip. The instantly informed me they were going to go on a boy's trip with their daddy and Pipi. I had sent an email to my grandparents saying that I was going to load the boys up on Mountain Dew and M&M's. I just wanted Clark to get the full experience. I was informed by the grandparents that I could really be a mean wife. LOL! Clark knew this long before he married me. They have plans to cook hot dogs out on Clark's new fire pit in the yard. I had to call and inform Clark yesterday that his hot dog would probably taste like tinkle since I caught Carsyn peeing on the grill part of the pit. LOVELY! My big surprise for them all is Sm ores. I bought all the fixings. It will probably result in a huge mess and end with the boys getting hosed off. I can't wait to hear about it. I had to leave each boy his own little note to read at bedtime because I hate that I'm not going to be there to tell them goodnight.

They will probably want me to go on a girl's trip more often because they will get to have hot dogs which I don't really care for and then stay with their granny the next day. I will update and let you know how it all goes.

A Big Thank You!

A preview of the boy's Halloween costumes!
Carsyn, me, Cutter

I want to say a big thank you to my best friend, Tonya! No one will ever know how happy I am that I took that awful statistics class that semester. She continues to pay me back for doing all her statistics homework. The boys and I made our way to Wichita Falls so that I could get my hair cut. She always volunteers to help me out. She took the boys to McDonald's to play so that I could go to the salon without having to worry about them. The boys had a blast and are still talking about it. Then she went with me to our old alma mater to take some pictures of the boys in their Halloween costumes. My favorite part of this little part of our day is when she tries to teach Carsyn to take our picture together by the fountains. He did do a pretty good job for a 3 year old. And if you don't mind pictures without heads, it was a perfect shot! We finally got a unsuspecting victim who was walking by to take our picture. I just want to say to Tonya how much I appreciate her friendship and how she is always willing to go the distance to help me out and make my life a little easier. You are deeply loved by this Mommy and her two little boys!

The big 3-0!

You can just see the fun that Carsyn had with John riding the tube.
All the kids again minus baby Garrett.

Not sure if they are having fun or not!

Daddy and Cutter getting ready to tube. Yes, you may need your sunglasses to look at both sets of legs in this picture.

Carsyn yelling "this is fun" the whole time tubing with John.

Carsyn and John getting ready to tube! Carsyn refused to ride with anyone but John.

Brant's hand, Carsyn, Abbey(what a cutie), Jackson, and Cutter

As most of you know Clark will be turning 30 on October 21st. We started the celebration a month early by having a group party for Clark and three other friends from high school who are all turning 30 this month and next month. We went to Lake Brownwood. We couldn't got too far because we had 6 kids from 4yrs to 8mths old with us. We did all get to go out on the lake together Saturday afternoon. I don't know how this happened but I only got pictures of the kids instead of the Birthday Boys. Maybe one of the other wives will send me some more pics. The women are the official reining "Catch Phrase" champs and we plan on defending our title next year. We are still being accused of cheating.

Henry the Hand

Henry the Hand came to Mother's Day out today to give a presentation on the proper hand washing technique. I was so happy he came! The boys came home and showed me all the ways they learned to wash their hands. Carsyn had to add that he splashed a girl with some water.
Carsyn with Henry the Hand
Cutter and Henry the hand

What the boys did a Mother's Day Out! You may have to click on them this picture to see the bigger version. Read Carsyn's homework! Try not to hit brother at Mother's Day Out! Yeah like that's going to happen.

Cutter and Kurt Cobain

Today was a Nirvana kind of day for me! Clark had to work on Labor Day and to top things off he is helping host a roping tonight. UUGGGHHHH! The boys and I have been stuck at the house all day...all of us too tired from this weekend to get out. I would never had guessed that Cutter would get such a thrill out of this loud, angry music. LOL! I certainly didn't know he had dance moves like this. He dances like his Aunt Kristen who is always teaching them new dance moves. Carsyn unfortunately dances like his father. Doing the fast hop from side to side. I know parents look at their children and wonder what they will grow up to be. Well today I was pondering such thought as I watched my child with his cowboy boots, hat, spurs, football helmet, shorts, monster truck shirt and his crazy dance moves. And it hit me...that I have seen this sort of human before...in all different forms and different levels of craziness. It hit me...my child is going to be a.......RODEO COWBOY! Tonya can even tell you of her experience with Rodeo Cowboys. LOL! She is going to kill me for saying that. I have been around these crazy types for years since Clark college rodeod for TECH and still rodeos here and there. I'm just betting this is what those parents of rodeo cowboys experienced at 3. This is what their child acted like before they grew up and decided to streak through a college party with only his cowboy hat in the appropriate place. Forget Nirvana...we are going back to listening to Sesame Street, The Wiggles, and the torturous Veggie Tales.

Friday Night Lights-Part II

This video shows a little of Cutter's personality. He inherited the eating gene from the Campbell side of the family. His Pops and Daddy can put away the food. This video shows his many talents. Eating a hot dog and getting down to the band at the same time. Nothing is going to keep him from that hot dog. What a cutie pie!!!!

Friday Night Lights-Part I

It's that time of year again! Football Friday Nights! We were fortunate enough to have Clark volunteer to drive the band trailer from Goldthwaite to Bedford. It only took 4 hrs driving 60mph with 3 buses following. Oh yeah and of course our favorite 3 year olds went along. We had a great time. We played at Pennington Field. We got to spend a lot of time up in the press box with one of our friends who does the radio broadcast of the game. The perks were all the cokes and popcorn two little boys could eat. In the video above, we are listening to the band warm up. Carsyn can't decide if the is going to play football or baseball to the music. So as you see he decided football, then baseball, then football again where he makes a snap and of course there is Cutter coming in for the quarterback sack! We had a BALL! even when we got home at 3am..we were all in good spirits. You may have to turn off my AC/DC below to hear the video.

Birthday LOOT!

My in laws got me this great book! I love to read about the ranches and Cutter and Carsyn like it too!

My new COACH purse from my mom and dad-way nice and totally unexpected! I love it.

My favorite movie and some punk rocker shoes that my sister claims is my style. I don't know about that.

My new bumper from my boys. I guess they are afraid I'm going to back into something. JK I love it. Also my new laptop which is my birthday, xmas, valentines, easter, presidents day, mothers day, and anniversary present for a long time LOL! I had a great birthday and got too many nice things. I also got a little birthday money..wonder what I should get? It seems I got quite a bit already.

But what would any woman want from the 3 men she loves most? Flowers? Jewelry? Chocolate? NOOOO! How about a balloon bouquet with a JOHN DEERE TRACTOR balloon right in the middle? I could tell the ones Clark picked out and the ones the boys had picked out. It was too cute of an idea!

Goodbye Energy

On our daily run...well they run and I walk!

We're #2(they mean #1 but twins lives revolve around the number 2)

Cattle guard: Cutter says "I can do it myself" Grandmother-does this sound familiar?

Some beautiful scenery on our walk.

That's the boys at the bottom of the hill getting on "their mark". They have watched entirely too much Track and Field on the Olympics. I'm going to have to invest in some starting blocks if this continues. They race all the way to the top to slap my hand.

My Monday runeth over into my Tuesday!

Great! Tuesday isn't looking any better than Monday. I woke up with a migraine and that is never a good sign. The boys seem to understand that my head hurts..maybe its the crazy looking cold mask that I am wearing around the house. Or maybe it has just scared them into behaving. The great thing about having a migraine is "Summer under the Stars" on Turner Classic Movies. I got to watch Casablanca last night. Cutter even watched it...that kid is so like me. I guess I had better run. I can see one crying on the trampoline. I never in my life would imagine that jumping on that trampoline would turn into my own personalized version of cage fighting.

It has been a MONDAY!

BOY, it has been a Monday! I realized that I haven't blogged in some time but I have desperately been trying to get us all back on a schedule. Today was Clark's first day back to school with kids. I had to be in Brownwood to register the boys and me for MOPS by 8:30am. I am so looking forward to getting back in with my group of MOPS friends. A good place for me to go where everyone understands what I am going through. There are quite a few moms with twins...there were 4 of us with twins last year and since then a lady has had triplets. The boys are getting ready for their first day at Mother's Day Out on Thursday here in Goldthwaite. They will be quite busy this fall going here and there. Anyways today has been full of fights and squabbles. I have never heard so much bickering. They even decided to have a full on fist fight at a play date at the park today. I think it's time for some time away from each other. I included some pictures above because I finally realized that they have no baby left to them. They look like little boys now instead of my sweet chubby cheeked little baby boys. They would say "oh gosh mom" if they could read this. They are growing up and I feel this time slipping away. It hit me today that I would be taking them to the first day of kindergarten in two years. Two years will fly by! I'm a little sad today but grateful to be able to be at home with them..even when they drive me crazy.
On a more humorous note, Carsyn told a man on the chip aisle in Walmart today that "his mommy says bad words". The man laughed and I was embarrassed. Where does this kid come up with this stuff? My birthday is on Thursday so they have been singing Happy Birthday every chance they get. Carsyn has said he bought me a new TV at a store and Cutter said he is getting me a tractor cake for my birthday. They are too funny! I guess that is all for today but am going to get back into the BLOG of things once we get this week under our belt.
